to the union

you know what they say about missing something only after they are gone? in a way that’s kind of what happened to me during this EE camp. however, i thank God that the thing i missed is something i can get back.

a couple of posts ago, i mentioned some stuffs about leaving. i said that i’m not the sort of person to get attached to anything or anyone and that eventually, i would pack up and leave. well. i was wrong. i told myself that i’ve done my bit for SU. i have helped in the FOC camp as a medic and now that FOC’s over, i can pack and leave.

after attending my EE camp… whoa. NPSU peeps… i miss you guys. i do. i honestly do. i’m not saying that the EE camp sucks or anything but let’s just say i miss the people. off the top of my head, this post is a shout out to Chee How, Sham, Ken, Zaid, Deborah, Caili, Jeremy, Kaixiang, Zaid, Alvin, Alvin (Buggy), Zhou, Raquel, Colin, Iggy, Kenneth, Sun Tian, Angeline, Patrick, Meiting, Faz, Timon, Ronald, David, Emily, Vernon, Danny, Sarah, Daphne, Davio, Tas, Max, Peipei, Jasmine, Crystal. to those I forgot to mention, i’m sorry i left you out. like i said, this is off the top of my head. please leave a comment and i’ll update this alrights? i miss you guys… and then there are the other guys that i don’t interact with but guys. i miss you too. i mean, i saw some of you during my EE camp wearing our red atlantis tee and gosh i felt like just rushing to you guys and like hugging and emoing and.. haha. rambling. sorry.

anyway, yeah. i didn’t particulary enjoy myself at my EE camp. in a way, i was comparing it to our FOC camp and i guess FOC had set a very high benchmark. maybe it’s because i have never attended an FOC that was as well planned and fun as this FOC. but i honestly have a new found respect for Chee How and the comm. my thanks also to the crew. Dravidas rocks! honest to God. no camp will ever work out without a proper solid crew behind it. trust me on this one. personal experience.

so yes. i take back all the stuffs i posted. i miss the SU peeps. and i’m feeling kind of emo in a way now. belated right? i just sort of recalled that kx, ch, shamm, ken, raq, etc are leaving. they have graduated and yep. i am not too sure how many will be back to help out like robert. but i kind of regret not knowing them earlier. but i guess now that i know it, i will be sure to try to keep in touch with them.

raq, thanks for chatting with me the other night. hahaha! i was just kind of disappointed with my EE camp. it just fell far off the benchmark that FOC has set for me. no doubt the EE peeps did their best but it just cannot be compared. NPSU… you guys rock!
