this song is about someone loving a girl. however, in the first two verses, all he could think of is ‘his love’ for the girl. he never thought of how she might love him. it’s later, during the pre-chorus, as he examines the little things she do that he realises she loves him exactly the same way. and that it’s not a one-way relationship….

just something i wrote this morning. have the rest of the words somewhere in my mind although i couldn’t seem to get them out the way i want them to. here’s just another very very rough draft.

edit: here’s a rough instrumental version i did. this time i tried to add in a second channel for the lead guitar. the above version with the vocals was recording using audacity on my laptop while this version was recorded using garageband using my brother’s macbook. damn. i want a macbook. no. i need a macbook.

just wrote this not too long ago. still a work in progress. just got in touch with an old friend from my ‘A’ level days. lost touch with her and the rest of the guys after i dropped out from Jurong Institute. anyway, some stuffs she told me… hmm. let’s just say that i got inspired to write this song.

this song is not just for her. it’s for all, including myself, who’s weary, burdened and tired with what the world has to offer. it’s for those who are seeking, who are looking for a place to rest. for those who don’t know to whom to turn to when everyone seems to have turned their backs against you.

was playing around when i got this tune. and whenever i pick up the guitar, i’d somehow just play this tune out. it’s irritating in a way because i don’t know how to fit words to it. anyway, i decided to record it and while recording, i thought to try and play some melody… decided to practice playing lead or something like that. anyway, here it is.
