had the majodi camp debrief at Charlene’s place earlier. potluck session and camp debrief. man. the food. it was a lot. and they were great! there was pasta (Charlene’s), roast beef (Erlich and Joanna’s), grilled chicken (Erlich and Joanna’s), boiled bratwurst (Erlich and Joanna’s), tortang talong (my eggplant omelette), ham and cheese sandwich (Genette’s), salad (Cindy’s), assorted fruit salad (Raymond’s), brownies (Valerie’s), drinks (Damien and Geraldine’s) and donuts (Lizzi).
the roast beef was seriously good. i’ve asked Erlich and Joanna for the recipe. i’ll do one for dad’s birthday. actually, i think i’ll do it for mum’s birthday since it’s much sooner.
heh. celebrated father’s day with dad by drinking shots of tequila. dad and mum got home yesterday from the philippines. he joined us for mass before going off to work. couldn’t really celebrate with him. hope the tequila shots were enough. wished i could spend more time with him but he’s busy working and so am i. oh wells. at least i’m glad he managed to take a break this year by accompanying my mum back to the philippines.
